6/22/12 Twist
7/3/95 David Bowie > Johnny B Goode
2/25/97 Prince Caspian

Theme is shows containing songs that were aborted.
Topical theme eh? My old college buddy was at the tour closer for summer 95 and they wound up aborting a Lizards for BBCFFM. That's rough.
Though I had considered a Roe vs. Wade style hint (before deciding I didn't need to get unnecessarily edgy on the front page), this theme was completely organic. I ran across an old forum thread of mine posted on 6/23/12, asking what had happened the night before with Poor Heart and Moma, and why they were aborted. Then I realized the big Twist was also that night and hadn't been used as an MJM clip, and saw that Poor Heart and Moma weren't even listed in the setlist (because they were cut so short), so I searched for other shows featuring aborted songs and realized the big crazy Bowie hadn't been used either. As they say, "the rest, as they say, is history." is a non-commercial project run by Phish fans and for Phish fans under the auspices of the all-volunteer, non-profit Mockingbird Foundation.

This project serves to compile, preserve, and protect encyclopedic information about Phish and their music.
